2013 Grade 10 Field Studies: Iya

This trip involves hiking & camping in a remote part of Shikoku. Here the students will develop an ecological sensitivity first hand and learn invaluable survival skills. One night will be spent at the top of the third highest mountain in Shikoku, the others in simple lodges. Students will have the chance to learn a skill in the village of Iya, at Alex Kerr’s Chiiori Project.
