A Shunkou ceremony to mark the completion of the main construction and Shunko Kiyo Harae ceremony were conducted on our new campus to notify Japanese Shinto deities that the construction finished safely and to offer prayers for prosperity, safety and good health of the new site and the people who will use it. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lester Yoshinami-Hitachi, along with 3 other participants made offerings to the deities on behalf of the groups they represented. Architect, Kengo Kuma, who designed our new campus, and Head of School, Craig Coutts, also addressed the participants of the ceremony.
