Gr. 10 Write For Rights, Service Learning Student Leadership

Write for Rights is the world’s biggest human rights event, where millions of people around the world come together to protect the rights of others. Organized by Amnesty International, the event seeks to raise awareness of and advocate for the freedom of people imprisoned wrongfully for fighting for democracy and human rights. Our Gr. 10 students wrote letters to key leaders to advocate for the freedom of 10 individuals, and convinced members of our school community to do the same in this community effort to write for rights.
