Gr.4 Busy Bees

Students in Gr. 4 were treated to a special visit by the beekeepers and bees from Americayama Park, located down the street from our school. The honey the bees produce is harvested and sold by the park management to promote the local community's industries and capabilities. Students learned about how bees support the ecology, the growth of fruits and other foods, and about how the bee colony works as a community. Students and teacher were delighted that the beekeepers and their bees could "B" with us.
