Grade 5 Wabi Sabi Fashion Show

Visiting artists Shoichi and Coleen Sakurai have been working with grade 5 classes, discussing the Japanese aesthetic concept of wabi sabi, while sharing their artwork using recycled materials. Over the last few weeks students worked on creating their own attire using only recycled materials. Today they got to show off their wearable artworks with a fashion show.
